Fall classes start on September 3rd in Bastin Hall. Classes are held every Tuesday from 4:15-5:30pm in room 303B.

Meet Your Instructor

This series of classes is instructed by Chris-Ann Streeter.

About Chris-Ann:

  • Military spouse for 30 years, USMC
  • Masters degree in Sports Management with emphasis in Business and Leadership ethics
  • Instructor of Etiquette, Manners, Protocol and Business Social Graces
  • Director and Decorator of USMC Commandants residence at 8th and I street, Washington DC
  • Author, marketer, promoter, and distributor for “Venture Out”, a shopping, dining, and sightseeing guide book for Eastern North Carolina
  • CEO and Founder of Decorating with Flair, LLC 
  • Managed, trained, mentored, and conducted safety and fitness programs at Virginia Military Institute
  • 33 years of experience in physical fitness & personal training, certified trainer in group fitness, military specialist training -AFAA/NASM
  • Chris-Ann has been trained in Multi-cultural awareness and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East
  • Currently resides in Charleston, SC

Professional Etiquette Experience:

  • Designed, taught, and wrote a 20-page manual for Etiquette/Protocol- titled, “Lasting Impressions” and taught business and dining decorum classes for military spouses and private business groups.
  • Developed and taught Marine Corps Ball Proper Attire and Dining Etiquette courses.
  • Taught etiquette at New Bern, NC; MCAS Cherry Point, NC; Stuttgart, Germany; & Washington, DC.
  • Well-versed in hospitality training, and continues to educate, train, and lead on the subjects of etiquette, cultural awareness, public speaking, business social graces, and leadership studies.

Etiquette training will culminate in a formal dinner at which cadets will practice everything learned throughout the course. Each cadet will also receive a certificate of completion from The Citadel.
